Cindy Jackson (human Barbie doll)
Cindy Jackson was born in 1956 on a farm in Ohio and like most little girls, said " Barbie was her idol". It was during those years she got the idea that she "wanted Barbie's life, not her body. I wanted to be an astronaut or a doctor, not a farmer's wife". When Cindy's father died in 1988 and left her a large sum of money she finally had the chance to make that goal a reality. (this is from her web site, where the dream of having Barbie's life died and instead just going for massive reconstructive surgery is an open question)
Jackson had a grand total of nine major operational sessions. Most operations encompassed more than one procedure at a time, like a nose job plus liposuction and fat transfer. She had also had numerous less major treatments including tooth bleaching, Restylane injections, thread vein removal, face peels and semi-permanent makeup. The results of these generally non-surgical procedures are temporary and therefore repeated regularly maintain the effect. The price tag for the major surgeries came to a total of over $100,000, this does not include the cost of the ongoing maintenance procedures that she will have to continue for life.
